About the position

The Hospital Photojournalist/Videographer is responsible for producing high-quality photography and videography that supports the marketing, public affairs, and communications projects of Englewood Health. This role requires the use of advanced audio/visual tools, including digital cameras, lighting equipment, and editing software, to create compelling media packages that align with the hospital's branding and organizational style. The photojournalist will work both independently and collaboratively with various departments, gathering input from multiple stakeholders to ensure that the final products meet the needs of the organization while adhering to tight deadlines. In this position, the photojournalist will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the latest equipment standards and possess excellent editing and archiving skills. Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, and web-based hosting platforms like Vimeo and YouTube is essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to ten years of experience in media production or a related field, showcasing a familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry. A Bachelor's Degree is required for this role, reflecting the educational background necessary to succeed in a professional healthcare environment.
