The hospital is a 642-bed facility situated in Jackson, TN, and is known for its busy and dynamic environment. The hospitalist group consists of over 30 physicians, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The role involves working as a nocturnist, which means the physician will primarily cover night shifts, ensuring that patients receive continuous care throughout the night. The position is hospital-employed, which provides stability and support from the hospital administration. The compensation package includes a competitive salary with productivity potential, along with additional compensation for extra shifts worked. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients during night shifts.
• Collaborate with a team of hospitalists to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in patient rounds and manage patient admissions and discharges.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in Tennessee.
• Experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist role is preferred.
