About The Position

Reading Hospital is recruiting a Hospitalist Nocturnist to join our growing Hospitalist Services team! This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of care for the inpatient Adult Medicine Service. The role offers flexible schedule options and requires the candidate to work 13 ten-hour night shifts per month. The ICU is closed with 24/7 Intensivist coverage, and no procedures are required. The average patient load is 15, and teaching residents is optional. The position utilizes EPIC EMR and is supported by more than 75 employed Physicians and over 20 Advanced Practice Providers.

Requirements

• Medical degree and board certification in Internal Medicine
• Ability to work night shifts
• Experience in a hospitalist role preferred

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Interest in teaching residents
