Hospitalist opportunity in San Antonio *New Increased Rates*

About the position

Envision Physician Services is seeking full-time hospitalists to join their dynamic team at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio. The role involves managing patient care with a focus on quality and efficiency, working in a supportive environment with access to sub-specialty backup and advanced practice providers. The position offers a 7 on 7 off schedule, with a census of 18-20 patients during the day shift and 14-16 at night, ensuring a balanced workload for physicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including intensivists and advanced practice providers.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Participate in a 7 on 7 off schedule to ensure continuous patient coverage.
• Provide care in an open ICU environment without procedures.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
