About the position

The Hospitalist Physician Assistant at Delphi Healthcare will provide high-quality in-patient care at Claxton Hospital, working in a cohesive team environment. This role involves a 7 on / 7 off day shift schedule, focusing on patient assessments, documentation, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure exceptional care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient care including rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
• Assess patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations.
• Obtain, update, and study medical histories of patients.
• Document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.

Requirements

• Excellent clinical skills with ACLS certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Current license to practice medicine in New York State.
