The Hospitalist Physician opportunity in Covington, TN, is focused on providing high-quality inpatient care within a community-centered hospital setting. The role emphasizes a balanced work-life schedule, allowing clinicians to engage with a diverse patient population while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient care to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Manage a daily census of 20-25 patients, shared with an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC).
- Participate in a 7-on, 7-off block scheduling system.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with qualifications in Internal Medicine.
- Active medical license in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain one.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a hospitalist role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Open to new graduates.
