About the position
Envision is seeking full-time Hospitalists to join the team at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. This role involves managing patient care in a hospital setting, with a focus on providing high-quality medical services. The position offers a structured schedule of 7 on 7 off, with responsibilities including rounding in the ICU and responding to floor codes, while having full sub-specialty backup available. The role utilizes Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient documentation and patient management.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in the hospital setting.
- Round in the ICU and co-manage with intensivists.
- Respond to floor codes as needed.
- Utilize Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for documentation.
- Work a 7 on 7 off schedule.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
