About the position

The Legal Hospitality and Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a small to medium site, managing a small team, and ensuring high-quality hospitality services. This role involves managing contracted services, improving operational quality, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. The manager will also handle event planning and banquet services, ensuring all logistical details are efficiently managed to enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of a small-medium size site while overseeing a small team of direct reports.
  • Prioritize multiple and competing priorities while creating a positive work culture to maximize retention.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Ricoh products and offerings, providing alternatives when necessary.
  • Manage production labor percentages to meet company standards for quality control labor.
  • Implement and manage RICOH Service Excellence tools to improve operational quality.
  • Work with customers to improve business processes and ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements.
  • Create a customer-focused environment through regular feedback and satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist in achieving goals in Audit and Deadline standards and compliance.
  • Ensure proper staffing by matching employee skills with production demands.
  • Motivate employees and recognize their accomplishments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate job expectations and provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to direct reports.
  • Evaluate team member performance and provide career development opportunities.
  • Maintain daily contact with the customer to understand their requirements.
  • Identify gaps in service delivery and adjust processes accordingly.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues concerning pricing, orders, and invoicing with the sales department.
  • Create and support site-required reporting and customer presentations to ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Manage hospitality functions including overseeing banquet services and event planning duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a related field (B2B and/or technical).
  • Previous 2 years of managerial work experience strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of customer-facing work experience required.
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of technology.
  • Proficient in Off 360.
