About the position

The Assistant Operations Manager at Nap York is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest services and efficient management of hotel functions. This role requires a proactive individual who can supervise staff, manage customer interactions, and contribute to the overall success of the hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Station Training (cleaning, front desk, building tour)
  • Shadow monitoring
  • Conduct evaluations
  • Address guest issues
  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Cover shifts as needed
  • Manage daily schedules
  • Perform daily inspections
  • Handle deliveries and inventory

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel operations or a similar role is preferred
  • Flexible schedule for 5 days a week
  • Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to speak Spanish for effective communication with diverse guests
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for handling guest interactions
  • Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics is a plus
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures, budgeting, and revenue management is beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
