The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to patrons at the bar, as well as preparing drink orders for the service team. This position requires creativity and expertise in cocktail preparation, along with the ability to inform guests about our beverage offerings and restaurant philosophy. The ideal candidate excels in hospitality and is committed to enhancing the guest experience. In this role, you will assist the Bar Director in selecting liquors for the establishment, provide beverage service during service hours, and guide guests in their selections while ensuring personalized service. You will also support the Bar Director in offering educational resources for front-of-house staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, stay informed about emerging trends in the restaurant industry, and deliver world-class service consistently in line with company standards. Additionally, you will conduct pre-service inventory, manage liquor procurement and organization, and oversee monthly inventory processes, including invoice management and bar organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Bar Director in selecting liquors for the establishment.
  • Provide beverage service during service hours, guiding guests in their selections and ensuring personalized service.
  • Support the Bar Director in offering educational resources for front-of-house staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in the restaurant industry through workshops and professional literature.
  • Deliver world-class service consistently in line with company standards.
  • Conduct pre-service inventory and manage liquor procurement and organization.
  • Oversee monthly inventory processes, including invoice management and bar organization.
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Remember names and faces of regular patrons, greeting them personally.
  • Follow established service protocols and effectively communicate the restaurant's concept to guests.
  • Assist management with opening and closing procedures.
  • Guide guests in their beverage choices with personalized recommendations.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and respectfully.
  • Support all front-of-house staff in various service aspects.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all suppliers.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of cocktails and appropriate pairings.
  • Understand menu nuances to assist guests with dietary restrictions.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of bartending experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Charismatic and articulate demeanor.
  • Customer-oriented with outstanding tableside service.
  • Strong sense of luxury hospitality.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.

Benefits
