About the position

The Cashier position at LAZ Parking involves greeting and engaging customers while handling cash transactions related to parking fees. Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and excellent customer service.
  • Collect parking fees and provide the correct change.
  • Understand and handle different types of parkers, such as tenants, visitors, and employees.
  • Answer questions about the surroundings and building area.
  • Complete the daily report.
  • Assist in staffing the exit or entry booth during peak collection hours.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
  • Answer customer service questions concerning parking and general inquiries.
  • Determine traffic flow during equipment failure or construction periods.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Seek improvement and field additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience is required.
  • Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make independent decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work in multiple facility locations.
