About the position

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at Fast N Friendly Stores & Petroleum. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, grocery stores, restaurants, or cafes and possess strong mathematical skills. This position is essential for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your role will significantly impact their shopping experience. You will be responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be crucial in this fast-paced environment. In this role, you will handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately. You will assist customers with bagging their items and addressing any inquiries they may have about products or services. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to upsell additional items or promotions to enhance the customer experience. Familiarity with food safety regulations is a plus, as it will help you maintain compliance while serving our customers. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with a pay range of $12.00 to $13.29 per hour, depending on experience and availability.
