About the position

The Hospitality & Communications Associate role is a part-time position focused on ensuring a five-star hospitality experience across properties. The associate will conduct post-cleaning inspections, assist in onboarding new properties, and eventually handle guest communications to enhance the overall guest experience. This position offers growth opportunities as the company expands its client base and portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections after housekeeping to confirm that each home is impeccably clean, artfully staged, and fully equipped for a premium guest experience.
  • Verify that décor elements are placed according to the brand's vision, linens and towels are pristine, and amenities are properly arranged for immediate guest enjoyment.
  • Use a detailed checklist to ensure no detail is overlooked, and promptly report issues to management.
  • Assist in preparing new properties to meet high standards, including arranging furnishings, décor, and amenities that evoke a sense of luxury and comfort.
  • Manage and update property inventory, ensuring the right quantity and quality of kitchenware, linens, and guest essentials are on hand.
  • Organize and label storage areas and create intuitive 'wayfinding' solutions for guests.
  • Collaborate with photographers, cleaners, and other vendors to present each property at its absolute best from day one.
  • Help respond to guest inquiries and special requests with warmth, promptness, and professionalism as familiarity with properties increases.

Requirements

  • A strong eye for design and an appreciation for upscale aesthetics, décor, and ambiance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every property element is perfect and intuitive for incoming guests.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor.
  • Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for checklists, reports, messaging, and maintaining digital inventory logs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
  • Availability on turnover days (often weekends or weekdays) to complete inspections and onboard new properties within guest arrival windows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, housekeeping quality control, boutique hotels, upscale property management, or inventory management is a plus, but not required.
