About the position

The Hospitality Customer Service Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth business operations and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing communication across various teams, resolving customer issues, and adhering to company procedures. The position includes a comprehensive training program to prepare the manager for leadership responsibilities based on individual strengths and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate smooth business operations and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service outcomes and manage omnichannel communication.
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly.
  • Complete assigned tasks satisfactorily and uphold company standards.
  • Undergo a 'manager in training' onboarding process to understand company operations.
  • Regularly review and analyze data across multiple internal systems.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill guest needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to anticipate and manage customer expectations.
  • Report to upper management on major updates, problems, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Manage daily department attendance and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Administer coaching and disciplinary action to employees as necessary.
  • Contribute to daily operational needs and support after-hour demands as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; Associate's degree required.
  • 1-3 years prior office/hotel management experience or relevant mix of administrative and leadership duties.
  • Expert understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage employees while completing individual duties.
  • Ability to solve problems and maintain confidentiality.
