About the position

The Hospitality Desk Manager at New Mexico Sports & Wellness is responsible for overseeing the hospitality desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing the hiring and training of staff. This role requires a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and the ability to handle high-demand situations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the hospitality desk operations and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Hire and train hospitality desk staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve member issues.
  • Perform Manager on Duty tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organization and attention to detail in daily operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in the fitness, spa, hotel, or hospitality industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Windows, email, and Point of Sale software.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including opening, daytime, and evening shifts.
