About the position

Lucky13 Hospitality Group is in search of a skilled Event Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a background in hospitality and event management, showcasing strong customer service abilities, self-motivation, and a proactive approach. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in organizing events across various venues. Responsibilities include planning and executing events for our establishments, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain communication with potential clients.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to understand their event requirements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Utilize event management software to manage bookings, create event orders, and document all communications.
  • Maintain the events calendar, coordinating various promotions and special events.
  • Conduct venue tours for clients, showcasing our facilities.
  • Act as the primary contact for the events department, liaising with management and culinary teams.
  • Plan and oversee weekly programming activities, such as trivia nights and themed events.
  • Facilitate meetings with management to discuss upcoming events and necessary preparations.
  • Assist in the execution of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
  • Analyze sales performance and collaborate with management on achieving sales targets.
  • Submit reports on event performance and revenue tracking.
  • Work alongside marketing to effectively promote events and drive attendance.
  • Provide administrative support to management as required.
  • Engage in performance reviews to discuss goals and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality or event management is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
  • Familiarity with event booking platforms is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Ability to work independently while valuing teamwork.
