About the position

The seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member at Daytona International Speedway plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for guests attending various events at this world-renowned motorsports facility. This position involves greeting guests, checking admissions, and providing assistance with any inquiries they may have in our hospitality locations. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and possess a positive attitude, as they will be the face of our hospitality team during major racing events and other activities held at the Speedway. As part of the Hospitality General Staff, team members will be expected to work collaboratively with others to create a welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires flexibility, as staff may need to work extended hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on event schedules. The position also demands physical stamina, as team members will be required to stand for long periods, walk significant distances, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. Training sessions are mandatory, and attendance is required for all assigned event days, including a specific training session on August 10th from 8 am to 12 pm. The Daytona International Speedway hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the prestigious DAYTONA 500 and the NASCAR Coke Zero Sugar 400. Team members will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of guests and contribute to the overall success of these major events. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide a warm welcome at hospitality locations.
  • Check admissions and ensure guests have the necessary access to events.
  • Answer questions and provide information to guests regarding events and facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Participate in all pre-event training sessions and attend all assigned event days.
  • Be flexible to work extended hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required.
  • Stand for long periods and walk long distances during events.
  • Lift items up to 25 lbs as needed.
