About the position

The Seasonal Hospitality General Staff Team Member at Talladega Superspeedway plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience during race events. This position is part of the Event Experience team and involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well-informed throughout their visit. The General Hospitality staff will be stationed in various hospitality locations on race day, where they will greet guests, check admissions, and respond to any inquiries that guests may have. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is friendly, outgoing, and possesses a positive attitude, as they will be the face of the hospitality experience at one of NASCAR's most iconic venues. In addition to providing excellent customer service, the General Hospitality staff must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently. This role requires flexibility, as staff members may need to work extended hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on the event schedule. The ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments is essential, as is the capacity to stand for long periods and walk significant distances. Teamwork is a vital component of this position, and staff members are expected to collaborate effectively with their colleagues to create a memorable experience for all guests. Moreover, the role may require staff to remain on-site for up to one hour after the event concludes, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience until the very end. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide a warm welcome at various hospitality locations on race day.
  • Check admissions and ensure guests have the necessary access to hospitality areas.
  • Answer questions and provide information to guests regarding the event and facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Event Experience team to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in all pre-event training sessions to prepare for event responsibilities.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize the guest experience at all times.
  • Be flexible to work extended hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required.
  • Stand for long periods and walk long distances throughout the event day.
  • Lift items up to 25 lbs as needed during the event.
