About the position

The Hospitality Excellence Manager at Compass Group is responsible for transforming food and beverage operations by fostering a guest-centric culture. This role involves overseeing a team of food service managers and associates, ensuring exceptional hospitality, culinary innovation, and digital engagement. The manager will collaborate with various teams to enhance guest experiences and implement strategies that align with the company's brand image.

Responsibilities

  • Implement regional strategies to deliver best-in-class hospitality experiences.
  • Manage service standards across all food and beverage service areas.
  • Create personalized food moments through pop-ups and activations.
  • Oversee merchandising and visual experiences to enhance user engagement.
  • Collaborate with key client groups to understand their needs and develop tailored experiences.
  • Monitor hospitality performance and maintain regional alignment.
  • Identify training opportunities and implement comprehensive training programs for staff.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to design appealing and diverse menus.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes and introduce innovative ideas.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the food, beverage, or hotel industry with a focus on guest experiences.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to improve guest experience.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and engage key stakeholders effectively.
  • Passion for food and beverage with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and self-awareness in team dynamics.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and situations.
