About the position

The Hospitality Excellence Manager at Restaurant Associates is responsible for enhancing the guest experience within food and beverage operations. This role focuses on cultivating a guest-centric culture, overseeing a team of food service managers and associates, and ensuring that every guest interaction aligns with the brand's image. The position involves implementing strategies for best-in-class hospitality, managing the physical space's visual experience, and fostering relationships with key client groups to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement regional strategies to deliver best-in-class hospitality experiences.
  • Manage service standards across all food and beverage service areas.
  • Create personalized food moments through pop-ups and activations.
  • Oversee the merchandising and visual experience of the physical space.
  • Enhance sensory experiences including music, scent, and lighting.
  • Develop signage and wayfinding solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate hospitality performance at the site.
  • Identify training opportunities and implement comprehensive training programs for staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment and empower teams to deliver exceptional food experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the food, beverage, or hotel industry with a focus on guest experiences.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategies to improve the guest experience.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and bring in key stakeholders as needed.
  • Relentless passion for food and beverage and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing a team in a hospitality setting.
