About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hospitality industry EXPERT to join our team. This role requires a thorough understanding of restaurant financials, as well as the fundamentals of operations. As a key member of our hospitality team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service, key weekly financial information, and working efficiently to maintain our high standards. This role requires a strong passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Role Requirements include Financial Reporting, where the candidate will prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to provide insights to senior management. Budgeting and Forecasting involves developing, managing, and monitoring the annual budget and financial forecasts. The candidate will also establish and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures as part of Internal Controls. Cash Flow Management is crucial, as the candidate will monitor and manage cash flows to ensure that financial obligations are met. Cost Management will require analyzing and managing cost-control measures and efficiency initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and long-term financial planning as part of Financial Strategy. Risk Management will involve identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to provide insights to senior management.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure that financial obligations are met.
  • Analyze and manage cost-control measures and efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and long-term financial planning.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in POS systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct.
