About the position

The Team Lead at Chick-fil-A is responsible for assisting the management team in shift leadership and ensuring an outstanding experience for each restaurant guest. This role involves supervising assigned stations, opening or closing the restaurant, and leading the shift to maintain high standards of service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in all aspects of shift leadership.
• Supervise assigned stations for the entire shift.
• Open or close the restaurant following established procedures.
• Ensure guests have a remarkable experience.
• Hold team members accountable for maintaining standards.
• Communicate effectively and positively with team members.
• Take ownership of the entire shift and manage cashier settlements.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a source of reliable transportation.
• Reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be willing to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment.
• Mobility, light lifting, and standing on feet required during entire shifts, up to 8 hours.
• Must work well under pressure and respond quickly to changes in orders.
• Must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate.
• 2 years of previous customer service experience required, preferably in the food service industry.
• Must be able to resolve conflict and provide outstanding customer service.
• Must be able to open or close the restaurant at least two times a week.
• Honesty, humility, and hustle are a must.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Proficient and confident cash handling skills required.
• Servant leadership mentality required.
