About the position

The Hospitality Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions within a local NY restaurant group, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, particularly in the hospitality sector, and will be dedicated to the growth and development of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve employee relations issues and oversee HR investigations with fairness and objectivity.
  • Lead the creation of offer letters and manage new hire onboarding processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Ensure fair treatment of all team members in the workplace.
  • Acquire new vendors for employee benefits.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Knowledge of COBRA and FMLA regulations.
  • Experience with payroll systems, specifically ADP.
  • Experience in the restaurant industry.
