The Hospitality Sales Manager (HSM) at Beaulieu Vineyard is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all guest interaction programming and ensuring financial deliverables are met. This position requires the creation and maintenance of a safe environment for both employees and guests, while curating and delivering exceptional guest service and programming. The HSM will be tasked with achieving key sales metrics, including club conversion rates, net sales revenue, sales per guest, wine sales per guest, and effective data capture. Additionally, the role involves developing engaging and relevant guest programming and consumer events that enhance the overall visitor experience. In terms of operational responsibilities, the HSM will manage overheads and cost controls, particularly focusing on labor and cost of goods sold (COGS) for tours and tastings. Training team members and fostering a high-performance culture is essential, as is managing the operational and sales budget effectively. The HSM will also be responsible for the stewardship of this historic site, representing the Beaulieu Vineyard brand within the community. Other key responsibilities include staff performance management, succession planning, conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, and managing incentive programs. The role also encompasses inventory management, customer issue resolution, and compliance management, particularly in relation to health and safety regulations. The HSM is a critical member of the Direct to Consumer (DTC) team and is expected to embody the company’s core values and leadership framework, which emphasizes collaboration, courage, and authenticity.
