About the position

The Hospitality Manager at Elon University Aramark is responsible for overseeing the operations of food service accounts, ensuring that they meet both operational and financial goals. This role involves developing and executing strategies to enhance dining experiences while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards. The manager will coach and develop employees, foster client relationships, and ensure compliance with operational excellence fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service using Harvest Table's standard model.
  • Identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress.
  • Follow all Harvest Table processes and systems to build revenue and manage budget.
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Achieve or exceed food and labor targets while managing resources for quality and cost control.
  • Implement and maintain Harvest Table’s agenda for labor and food initiatives.
  • Direct and oversee operations related to production, distribution, and food service.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in hospitality management.
  • 1 to 3 years in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong value system and unquestioned integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
