About the position

The Hospitality Manager at Elon University Aramark is responsible for overseeing food service operations, ensuring they meet both operational and financial goals. This role involves developing strategies to enhance dining experiences, maintaining high safety and sanitation standards, and fostering effective client relationships. The manager will lead a team, coach employees, and ensure compliance with operational excellence fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet operating and financial goals.
  • Lead food service operations to meet objectives and client expectations.
  • Ensure dining operations align with Harvest Table's Executional Framework.
  • Coach leaders and employees to achieve a best-in-class dining experience.
  • Reward, recognize, and develop employees.
  • Maintain high safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service using Harvest Table's standard model.
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress effectively.
  • Manage budget, including cost controls related to food, beverage, and labor.
  • Complete and maintain Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Achieve or exceed food and labor targets.
  • Implement and maintain Harvest Table's agenda for labor and food initiatives.
  • Direct and oversee operations related to production, distribution, and food service.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in hospitality management.
  • 1 to 3 years in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong value system and unquestioned integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
