HANA MAKGEOLLI is a pioneering brewery specializing in artisanal Korean rice wines, located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As the first domestic producer of these unique beverages in the United States, we pride ourselves on showcasing the diversity of the Korean sool category. Our products are crafted using organic rice and traditional brewing techniques, ensuring an authentic experience. In addition to our exquisite wines, we offer a curated selection of authentic anju to complement our beverages. We are in the process of enhancing our beverage offerings in the Tasting Room and are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as the Tasting Room Manager. The Tasting Room Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the Tasting Room and leading the front-of-house team. This position involves managing daily activities, planning events throughout the year, and ensuring the food and beverage program meets our high standards of hospitality. This is a part-time position, approximately 30 hours per week, with on-site work required. The ideal candidate will collaborate with management to enhance and maintain Tasting Room programs, supervise front-of-house staff, oversee the reservation system, handle inventory and procurement, assist in menu execution, plan and execute events, maintain budgets, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the Tasting Room.
