About the position

The Hospitality Manager of Patient Services at Chippenham Hospital is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of patient services, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and promoting positive patient interactions. This role involves collaboration with the Food and Nutrition Services team and requires strong leadership skills to manage staff and implement quality control programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Patient Services to ensure safety and compliance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team as a Food and Nutrition Services Leader.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as TJC and CMS.
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and counsel staff in accordance with hospital HR policies.
  • Coordinate and implement performance improvement and quality control programs for Food and Nutrition Services.
  • Promote consistent, positive patient interactions to enhance patient service.
  • Conduct staff development functions including needs assessments, goal setting, and educational activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare Clinical Nutrition experience preferred.
