About the position

The Hospitality Manager at Cogir Senior Living is responsible for overseeing key resident-facing areas such as reception, dining services, and housekeeping within a retirement community. Responsibilities

• Oversee key resident-facing areas including reception, dining services, and housekeeping.
• Manage daily operations in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Recruit and train staff to maintain service quality.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the community.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company and regulatory policies.
• Supervise and motivate concierge, housekeeping, and dining staff.
• Oversee dining room services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in on-site sales activities and community events.
• Manage front desk operations and answer phones as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare management required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
