About the position

The Hospitality Manager at Over Easy is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of food and service areas within the restaurant. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, staff training, and compliance with company policies. The Hospitality Manager leads by example, ensuring a positive work environment while directly supervising front-of-house staff and assisting in financial management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and achieves the highest standards in food and service operations.
• Directs and supervises staffing, service, product quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility, fixtures, and equipment.
• Leads by example with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ensures guest satisfaction at all times, especially during peak hours.
• Oversees training and development of new staff members.
• Implements and maintains service standards and compliance with company policies.
• Handles guest feedback and issues related to food, drink, or service.
• Maintains knowledge of the menu, dishes, ingredients, and recipes.
• Assists in financial management, including food and beverage cost controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year work experience managing a restaurant with a staff of 10+
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Attention to detail
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to fifty pounds
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
