About the position

The Hospitality Manager at Tangled Roots Brewing Co. is responsible for overseeing the frontline operations of the Upscale Brewpub, ensuring that the standards and values of the company are met. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing the server and host team members, while also providing a remarkable hospitality experience to guests. The Hospitality Manager will lead by example, demonstrating positive leadership and fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, schedule, train, and manage the server and host team members.
• Lead and mentor team members to understand and adhere to TRBC culture and values.
• Empower the team through growth opportunities within the company.
• Perform administrative duties related to the operations of the brewpub.
• Lead and direct all team members with an emphasis on ongoing training and development.
• Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics aligned with TRBC values to inspire team members.
• Oversee and maintain cleanliness of the Upscale Brewpub.
• Oversee private parties in the absence of the Event Manager.
• Ensure each guest is provided a genuine hospitality experience and resolve any guest conflicts in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in restaurant management
• Strong customer service focus
• Effective communication skills
• Time management skills
• ServSafe Manager certification
• Food Handler certification
• Allergen certification
• Basset certification (required within 30 days of hire)

Nice-to-haves

• 2 or more years of hospitality management experience
• Track record of process improvement
• Experience in staff development
• Efficient use of restaurant systems
