About the position

The Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring employee productivity, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role involves creating staff schedules, training employees, and managing customer complaints while working closely with the Events Director and Executive Chef. The position requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and a passion for mentoring and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage FOH staff schedules.
  • Prepare food and operate kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring company protocols are followed.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all employees.
  • Assist staff in resolving customer complaints and concerns.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints effectively.
  • Assist in hiring and firing processes as needed.
  • Train FOH staff in various positions when necessary.
  • Attend weekly managers meetings to discuss business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Events Director for event staffing and operations.
  • Act as a liaison between FOH and BOH operations with the Executive Chef.
  • Understand and utilize FlightScope ball tracking technology and BigShots Golf software.
  • Optimize profits by controlling costs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant service.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • ServSafe Certification (basic and managerial).
  • High school diploma or GED.
