About the position

The Hospitality Manager plays a crucial role in a family-owned hospitality organization with over 43 years of history. This position is responsible for managing a team of 5-7 individuals in a dynamic environment, ensuring exceptional dining and drinking experiences for members and guests. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere and coordinating events effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carefully managing the schedule for the Hospitality team
• Strategically scheduling events to minimize overtime
• Evaluating staffing needs and managing labor based on demand
• Coordinating events of 2-250 people with members and non-members
• Holding regular meetings with the executive chef and providing updates via Slack, Asana, Email, and in-person meetings
• Preparing the team before service opens in the morning and before lunch service daily
• Managing inventory of both food & beverages
• Managing hospitality experience to the highest level of detail
• Reaching out to potential event hosts and guest speakers to plan and host new events
• Managing and communicating billing for all hospitality-related charges
• Working closely with other departments to achieve a seamless experience for both our team and our members and guests
