About the position

The Director-Hospitality Operations at Chick-fil-A is a leadership role focused on ensuring exceptional service and hospitality within the restaurant. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests and fostering a professional team atmosphere. The Director collaborates with the Restaurant Leadership Team to achieve restaurant goals and maintain the company's vision and values, while also overseeing team development and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of Recipe for Service and 2nd Mile Service to enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Leadership Team to align on restaurant goals.
  • Act as an ambassador for the store's mission and purpose.
  • Maintain character excellence in line with Chick-fil-A's vision and values.
  • Manage daily FOH systems and guidelines effectively.
  • Work with HR Director to ensure proper staffing and productivity.
  • Conduct quarterly orientations for FOH team training and development.
  • Lead daily shift huddles focusing on development, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Execute Chick-fil-A standards for safety and security training.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan annually.
  • Fully execute FOH Emotional Connections Marketing initiatives.
  • Create and execute a 12-month area development plan for FOH leadership and team members.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs for team members.
  • Experience in managing operational standards and metrics.
  • Knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with team development and mentoring.
  • Familiarity with Chick-fil-A's service standards and values.
  • Background in marketing initiatives related to customer engagement.
