About the position

As a Hospitality Manager at Stage Karaoke & Studios, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant venue. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience, which includes managing staff, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and optimizing revenue generation. You will report directly to the General Manager or Owner and will collaborate with various departments to achieve our business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a positive and memorable environment for our guests, as well as for our team members. In this role, you will be responsible for customer service excellence, which involves greeting and welcoming guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly, and monitoring service standards to implement improvements. You will also manage staff by recruiting, training, and supervising lounge personnel, including bartenders, servers, hosts/hostesses, and security staff. Creating staff schedules, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will conduct performance evaluations and develop training programs to foster staff development. Operational efficiency is key, and you will oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling. Maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and coordinating with vendors for equipment repairs and supplies will also fall under your purview. You will develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue, analyze sales data, and collaborate with marketing teams to create effective campaigns and customer loyalty programs. Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations is essential, and you will ensure that our venue adheres to licensing requirements related to alcohol service, health and safety, and labor practices. Regular inspections and training sessions will be conducted to maintain compliance standards and mitigate risks. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about hospitality and music, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service standards and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to alcohol service, health and safety, sanitation, and labor practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and training sessions to maintain compliance standards and mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a lounge, bar, or nightclub setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of beverage service, mixology, and alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
