About the position

The Hospitality Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market campaign strategies for Vail Resorts' lodging portfolio. This role involves collaboration with internal and external partners to drive business results, utilizing data-driven insights and creative marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand and product marketing, with a focus on achieving business revenue goals through effective campaign management and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy development, implementation, optimization, and project management for lodging go-to-market campaign planning
  • Manage the go-to-market alignment and approval process from strategy to in-market deliverables with key business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Own relationships and manage external vendors including agency partners, copywriters, photographers, etc.
  • Assist in content creation for lodging properties and brands across various channels, including web, paid media, email, social media, and more
  • Develop and maintain copy and imagery across resort lodging and group websites
  • Manage and allocate marketing budget to support goals and priorities of the business, in compliance with Vail Resorts processes
  • Review, analyze, and clearly communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders to drive go-to-market optimizations and business strategy changes
  • Actively engage in team culture and talent development, and provide support, coaching, and guidance to two senior specialist team members (not direct reports)

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree required. Emphasis in marketing, business and or communications preferred
  • 4+ years Brand, Product, or Hospitality Marketing experience preferred. Experience working in a multi-location and/or corporate matrixed environment.
  • 2+ years in campaign management or go-to-market strategy development
  • Very strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to clearly communicate strategies, recommendations, and complex ideas
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, attention to details and level of professional conduct
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, and multi-tasker
  • Confident, collaborative leader who is able to function effectively in a matrixed environment by successfully leading through influence
  • Pursues work with energy and drive; adept at assessing and utilizing business data to identify needs and capitalize on opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization; works independently, takes initiative, and has the desire to achieve
  • Possesses good judgment, is detailed and trustworthy
