About the position

The Hospitality Services Manager at Moravian Village of Bethlehem is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping and front desk services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, conducting inspections, and handling resident inquiries, all while maintaining a welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness of resident suites, cottages, rooms, and public areas.
  • Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resident and common areas.
  • Oversee annual deep cleaning of units and all discharge cleanings.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Supervise front desk operations, ensuring resident safety and security.
  • Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Train and orient all new front desk staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless resident experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and front desk operations, preferably in a CCRC/Retirement Community setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
