About the position

The Hospitality Technology and Product Management Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the technology and product management needs of Birchwood Inn Partners. This position involves basic computer and network support, troubleshooting various devices, managing inventory, and ensuring product quality. The assistant will work closely with the Director of Facilities and Technology to maintain operational efficiency and improve processes within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic computer and network support for all company devices.
• Troubleshoot issues related to printers, laptops, POS systems, phones, iPads, and tablets.
• Contact and collaborate with technical support for third-party assistance when needed.
• Receive deliveries, verify against purchase orders, and ensure product quality.
• Complete purchase orders through the inventory system and process invoices.
• Conduct daily and weekly inventories of all products.
• Supply properties with products from warehouse/storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving areas.
• Complete timely preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and managers.

Requirements

• Hospitality background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer networks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer software.
• Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets.
• ServSafe/Alcohol Compliance certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills for inventory management.
• Valid driver's license.
