About the position

The Host position at Carolina Vista Lounge involves greeting and seating guests in a dining outlet, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Pinehurst's long-standing tradition of hospitality. The role is part-time and requires flexibility to work in various food and beverage outlets, including during holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and seat Members/Guests
• Handle menus ensuring they are presentable
• Answer phone calls during hours of operation
• Report any needs, problems, or concerns expressed by Members/Guests to the supervisor
• Assist servers with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables when needed
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests
• Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled
• Organize and keep the Host/Hostess stand clean and neat
• Be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels
• Work holidays as needed, even if the primary outlet is closed

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Minimum of 3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
