About the position

The Host/Hostess at Poblano Grill is responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests by greeting and seating them efficiently. This role involves managing the wait list, handling phone calls, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lobby and restrooms, all while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests courteously and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and manage to-go orders.
• Maintain the wait list and Call Ahead Seating.
• Keep the host/ess area stocked with necessary items.
• Ensure cleanliness of the lobby area, menus, and restrooms.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours.
• Ability to perform motions such as pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
