About the position

The Host/Hostess at TGI Fridays is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests as they enter and exit the restaurant. This role involves managing guest seating, providing information about promotions, and ensuring a smooth transition to the service staff. The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of guests and addressing their needs throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
• Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference.
• Inform Guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Promptly answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
• Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, providing accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate.
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests.
• Follow all relevant brand standards to deliver Fridays Service Style.
• Be observant to Guests' needs throughout the dining experience to ensure they receive high-quality service.
