About the position

The Host/Hostess at Whiskey Red's Restaurant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This part-time position involves greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and maintaining a positive atmosphere while assisting team members and responding to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage seating charts and respond to guest inquiries and phone calls.
• Ensure guests have an excellent dining experience and bid farewell as they leave.
• Maintain a clean and organized front area and inspect restrooms regularly.
• Participate in shift change and closing duties before leaving.
• Restock necessary supplies and keep all areas up to standard.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of similar experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to operate P.O.S. computer and handle transactions accurately.
• Must be neatly dressed and well-groomed in clean company uniforms at all times.
• Adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and alcohol awareness training.
