About the position
The Host/Hostess at Capers & Lemons Italian plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and direct them to their seating location.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of hours of operation, service information, and upcoming events.
- Answer phones and schedule reservations.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items.
Requirements
- Experience in upscale, high-volume, full-service hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to work within a team environment and lead others.
- Excellent emotional self-awareness under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend and evening shifts.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
