About the position

The Host/Hostess position at Celebration Hotel involves welcoming guests and escorting them to their tables while providing exceptional service. This role is integral to creating a positive dining experience and requires teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to the hotel's culture of inclusivity and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and escort them to appropriate tables for dining.
• Provide personalized, friendly service to each guest.
• Assist bussers and servers as needed.
• Communicate appropriate wait times to guests and handle pressure situations with professionalism.
• Complete all required training and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to guests.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
• Must be organized, honest, and work well with others.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must maintain a clean and attractive work area and uniform.
• Must have the highest degree of integrity and humility.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.
• Experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
