About the position

The Host/Hostess position at Silver Diner is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional hospitality to guests. As the first point of contact, hosts/hostesses greet guests upon arrival and bid farewell as they leave, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience and involves working in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide a warm welcome.
• Manage the seating arrangements and ensure efficient table turnover.
• Bid farewell to guests as they leave, thanking them for their visit.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous restaurant experience (preferred but not required).
