About the position

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide accurate wait times.
• Escort customers to dining and bar areas.
• Maintain a neat uniform and personal hygiene.
• Report to work on time with a positive demeanor.
• Follow Steps of Service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Exceed guest expectations during their dining experience.
• Clean, organize, and maintain stations before, during, and after seating.
• Provide detailed descriptions of food, beverages, and specials with suggestive selling.
• Follow safe food handling and beverage service procedures according to ServSafe training.
• Assist co-workers during peak times as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding special requests and modifications.
• Navigate the Toast P.O.S system for transactions.
• Close out credit card transactions properly and follow cash handling procedures.
• Report concerns to management in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills for handling money and giving correct change.
• Basic reading skills.
• Point-of-Sales skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of the Acurio International food & beverage menu and specifications.
• Familiarity with beer, wine, and spirits, including standard drink recipes.
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures.
• Basset certification and TIPS certification.
