About the position

Ted's Bulletin is seeking Hosts to join our team at our newest location in Ashburn, VA. This role involves warmly greeting guests, managing guest flow, and providing accurate wait times in a high-volume, full-service environment. The position is part-time and requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive.
• Provide accurate wait times to guests.
• Effectively manage guest flow in the restaurant.
• Maintain a high level of customer service under pressure.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front of house area.

Requirements

• Experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
• At least 18 years of age (unless permitted by law).
• High energy and stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
• Certified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service.
