About the position

The Host/Hostess at Kona Grill is responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm and ensuring they are seated in a timely manner. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, teamwork, and effective communication skills, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests entering the restaurant with passion and enthusiasm.
• Deliver exceptional guest service as a top priority.
• Coordinate the operation of the dining room during meal service periods.
• Adjust seating flow to balance guests among various service stations.
• Take all to-go orders and ensure order accuracy with guests.
• Answer telephone calls to the restaurant and take reservations.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours.
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing demeanor when interacting with the public and coworkers.
• Work experience in a high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred.
