The Hot Works Service Technician position at JH Kelly involves performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the repair, replacement, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. The role requires technical independence and effective communication to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill requested dispatched service calls to customer's satisfaction
• Compile completed field service work order data for invoicing
• Troubleshoot and repair emergency equipment issues
• Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to complete service calls
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction of completed jobs
• Monitor and inspect equipment for necessary maintenance and repairs
• Fulfill additional service needs to support the department

Requirements

• Proven successful commercial kitchen cooking equipment experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of current local codes and OSHA regulations
• Excellent customer relations and professional communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Basic written communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes
• Team player with the ability to achieve assigned performance goals
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Ability to multi-task

Nice-to-haves
