In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring that all areas including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Payroll are managed effectively and efficiently. Your primary goal will be to implement and maintain proper financial controls throughout the hotel to maximize profits and minimize losses. This includes safeguarding hotel assets, retaining revenues, and reducing expenses wherever possible. You will also play a crucial role in the budget preparation process, working closely with department heads to ensure that budgets are accurate and reflective of the hotel's operational needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate payroll preparation, which includes generating bi-weekly overtime reports, tip allocation reports, and distributing payroll checks to department heads. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in managing these financial tasks and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity within the hotel.
